ITINERARY

Day 1 – Welcome to Sri Lanka!

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met and greeted by our team at the arrivals hall. Our representative will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.

Day 2 – Sigiriya: Dambulla Cave Temple

Start your Sri Lankan adventure with a morning visit to the UNESCO Dambulla Cave Temple. In the afternoon, you can opt to go to Sigiriya Lion Rock which is another iconic destination and at the top of the rock take memorable photos with a sunset backdrop.

Day 3 – To Kandy: Pinnawale Elephant Orphanage , Tooth relic & Kandy cultural dance

Head towards the Elephant Pinnawale Orphanage and watch them take shower while having lunch. Upon reaching Kandy, checkin to the Kandy City View Hotel (or similar) to recharge and have free time. in the afternoon, we go to UNESCO's wonder in the Temple of the Tooth Relic and have quiet time before heading on to watching the Kandy cultural dance in the theatre.

Day 4 - Kandy: Botanical Garden & Tea Estate Damro

On the last day in Kandy, we experience nature in the Kandy Botanical Garden and take photos with the iconic plants and trees in it. In the afternoon, we delve into Sri Lanka's tea estate Damro with a guided tour of a operational tea estate. Experience hands-on tea picking, a delightful tasting session, and the rich flavors of Ceylon tea. After the tea trip, we move on towards Ella and check in to the White House Ella (or similar).

Day 5 - Ella: Little Adam's Peak, Nine Arches Bridge & Ravana Waterfalls

For the last day in Ella, we embark on a trek to Little Adam's Peak for panoramic views and a mesmerizing sunrise. After breakfast slow walking trip to world famous Nine Arches Bridge and take Instagram worthy photos. Upon farewell to Ella, we stop by to the famous Ravana Falls and head on towards Tangale and checkin to our next hotel Frangipani Beach Villa (or similar).

Activity: Guided tour to Little Adam's Peak & visit to Ravana Pool club & Zip line

Day 6 - To Galle: Swimming with turtles, visit to Coconut Tree Hill and Turtle Hospital

In the early morning, we take a swim with the turtles at Dikwella Turtle Beach and take photos as we swim and feed them on site. Upon departure from the hotel, we stop by to the Coconut tree hill spot in Mirissa to take Instagram worthy shots. And before heading on to the next hotel Nature Cabanas Hotel (or similar), we learn about the various species of turtles in the Turtle Hospital in Hikaduwa.

From Galle, we head on to our last city which is the capital city of Sri Lanka - Colombo. We learn about their history and culture by visiting the Colombo Museum, Memorial Hall and finally to the Dutch Hospital which is a shopping arena for the city.

What is the weather like in Sri Lanka?

Sri Lanka generally gets great weather throughout the year, however like any South-East Asian country it is prone to rainfall, May to September will still be hot and sunny but will have sporadic rains.

Do I need to bring temple wear?

Yes you will need to bring temple wear for use at various points throughout the tour. You’ll need to cover your legs, shoulders & chest so for men remember to wear t-shirts rather than singlets and for women, sarongs are ideal to drape over your shoulders.
