Day 1 – Welcome to Sri Lanka!

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met and greeted by our team at the arrivals hall. Our representative will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.

Day 2 – Sigiriya: Dambulla Cave Temple & Pidurangala Hike

Start your Sri Lankan adventure with a morning visit to the UNESCO Dambulla Cave Temple. After checking in to the Lotus Eco Villa (or similar), in the afternoon, we head to Pidurangala Buddhist Monastery for panoramic views, including the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock, and witness a mesmerizing sunset.

Day 3 – Sigiriya: Lion Rock Experience

After a good night's stay in Lotus Eco Villa (or similar), ascend UNESCO-listed Sigiriya Rock, the Eighth Wonder of the World. Climb through ancient gardens and forts, relishing over 1500 years of history. Conclude your day by booking an exhilarating elephant safari into the heart of Sri Lankan wilderness or a local Ayurvedic massage.

Day 4 – To Kandy: Pinnawale Elephant Orphanage

Then head towards the Elephant Pinnawale Orphanage and watch them take shower while having lunch. In the afternoon, checkin to the Kandy City View Hotel (or similar) to recharge and have free time. Day 5 - Kandy: Botanical Garden, Temple of Tooth Relic & Kandy Cultural Dance

On the last day in Kandy, we experience nature in the Kandy Botanical Garden and take photos with the iconic plants and trees in it. In the afternoon, we go to UNESCO's wonder in the Temple of the Tooth Relic and have quiet time before heading on to watching the Kandy cultural dance in the theater.

Day 6 - To Ella: Damro Tea Estate & Nine Arches Bridge

Delve into Sri Lanka's tea estate Damro with a guided tour of an operational tea estate. Experience hands-on tea picking, a delightful tasting session, and the rich flavors of Ceylon tea. After the tea trip, we move on towards Ella and check in to the White House Ella Hotel (or similar). After settling in to the hotel, we take a slow walking trip to world famous Nine Arches Bridge and take Instagram worthy photos.

Day 7 - Ella: Little Adam's Peak, Ravana Pool Club & Zip line

Another day in Ella means another day to take memories, Embark on a trek to Little Adam's Peak for panoramic views and a mesmerizing sunrise. After breakfast spend some time in the Ravana Pool Club and Zip line.

From Ella, on the way to Udawalawe, we make a stop at Ravana waterfalls, another iconic spot in Ella before finally leaving the place. After reaching Udawalawe, we witness the Udawalawe elephant orphanage feeding time at 3pm. Or you can go direct to rest in Elephant Park House (or similar) and prepare for next day's early morning safari.

Day 9 - To Tangle: Swimming with Turtles in Dikwella

At sunrise, you can opt to enjoy a thrilling jeep safari amidst diverse wildlife at Udawalawe National Park. Today, we bid farewell to Udawalawe and head to sun-soaked Mirissa. Check into Frangipani Beach Villa for a cozy haven with the soothing sounds of waves. In the afternoon, enjoy laid-back beach vibes—surf the Indian Ocean or relax under the warm sun. Later, head to next adventure with turtles at the Turtle beach in Dikwella. Feed and swim with the turtles and take memorable photos with you!

Day 10 - To Galle: Coconut Tree Hill & Turtle Hospital

Start the day by taking a trip to the Coconut Tree Hill for panoramic views. Before heading on to the next hotel, we visit the Turtle Hospital in Hikkaduwa and learn about the different turtles living in Sri Lanka and free some baby turtles out to the sea. Checkin to the hotel and prepare to witness a mesmerizing sunset painting the sky with hues of orange, pink, and purple.

What is the weather like in Sri Lanka?

Sri Lanka generally gets great weather throughout the year, however like any South-East Asian country it is prone to rainfall, May to September will still be hot and sunny but will have sporadic rains.

Do I need to bring temple wear?

Yes you will need to bring temple wear for use at various points throughout the tour. You’ll need to cover your legs, shoulders & chest so for men remember to wear t-shirts rather than singlets and for women, sarongs are ideal to drape over your shoulders.
