ITINERARY

Day 1 – Welcome to Sri Lanka!

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met and greeted by our team at the arrivals hall. Our representative will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.

Day 2 – Kandy: Botanical Garden, Temple of Tooth Relic, Damro Tea Estate

On your first morning in Sri Lanka, we make it special by visiting the Kandy Botanical Garden which will be the first backdrop of our Instagram worthy shots. This trip will be followed by a visit to the Temple of Tooth Relic before heading out to our next stop in Ella. On the way to Ella, we will stop by to Damro tea estate and learn about tea making and experience tea plucking from the tea fields. We finish the day by checkin in to our hotel room in White House Ella (or similar).

Day 3 – Ella & Dikwella: Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam's Peak, Ravana Waterfalls & Dikwella Turtle Beach

We start the day right by taking a hike to Little Adam's Peak and take pictures at the top after successfully climbing this famous peak. We go down the peak and head on to another famous spot, the Nine Arches Bridge. We check out from the hotel and take a trip towards Tangale but before starting our journey, we will stop by to Ravana waterfalls which is another landmark in Ella. upon reaching Tangale, we check in and prepare for another adventure of swimming with turtles. We enjoy the afternoon by feeding and swimming with the turtles in Dikwella.

Day 4 - Mirissa & Colombo: Coconut Tree Hill, Turtle Hospital, Colombo Museum, Memorial Hall & Dutch Hospital

On our last day, we leave Tangale and head towards Colombo. On the way, we will take memorable photos at Coconut Tree hill and again learn about turtles as we stop by at the Hikaduwa Turtle hospital. upon finally reaching Colombo, we go direct to the Colombo Museum, Memorial hall and do some shopping at the Dutch hospital shopping area. After a tiring day, we checkin and take a good night's rest at Hatch House (or similar) and prepare the bags for the departure tomorrow.

What is the weather like in Sri Lanka?

Sri Lanka generally gets great weather throughout the year, however like any South-East Asian country it is prone to rainfall, May to September will still be hot and sunny but will have sporadic rains.

Do I need to bring temple wear?

Yes you will need to bring temple wear for use at various points throughout the tour. You’ll need to cover your legs, shoulders & chest so for men remember to wear t-shirts rather than singlets and for women, sarongs are ideal to drape over your shoulders.
